My Space: Lucky Finds and a Mini Me! The Addams Family's Jennifer Fogarty Shows Off Her Must-Have Backstage Items

In the national tour of The Addams Family, Jennifer Fogarty plays far from sunny daughter Wednesday. In the new musical, she’s a young woman who is about to take on the daunting task of introducing her parents, Morticia and Gomez, to the boy she’s fallen in love with—the son of a normal family from Ohio. Below, Fogarty takes us on a backstage tour of her dressing room, where she seeks relief from the family drama. Check out her must-have items!

"I use my Vicks Personal Steam Inhaler before every show. I’m always huddled near the closest outlet steaming for a good half hour before our call for places."

"My notebook is filled with gems—pictures from home, postcards and mementos from each city. Also, I frequently find four-leaf clovers, which I keep in here for luck.”

"For extra help taking off my Wednesday makeup, I use Proactiv. I have been using it since I was 16 and I'm hooked."

"My CamelBak water bottle gets filled up at least three to four times during a show. I usually fill it with half cold water and half warm water with a touch of buckwheat honey."

"For my 26th birthday, my roommate James Michael Avance (who plays the Conquistador in Addams) made me my very own Wednesday doll. It is one of the most thoughtful and creative gifts I've ever received!"

See Fogarty in The Addams Family at Omaha’s Orpheum Theater from May 14 through May 19.
