The Book of Mormon - National Tour

Winner of 9 Tony Awards including Best Musical

Critics Around the Country Praise the National Tour of The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon conquered Broadway with a whopping nine Tony Awards, and now the hilarious show is converting the rest of the country with its national tour. The hit show, which the St. Louis Post-Dispatch called “an absolutely hilarious, fast-paced musical comedy,” is scheduled to play engagements in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Omaha, New Orleans and more in the 2013-2014 season.

The Book of Mormon, written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez, follows two young Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda, who soon discover that their training did not quite prepare them for the world outside of Salt Lake City.

The Denver Post said, “The Book of Mormon had me at ‘Hello.’” The Chicago Sun-Times called the tour “a superb duplicate of its Broadway original (in some ways even better).” The Tony-winning choreography by Casey Nicholaw (who co-directed with Parker) has “some of the brightest dances you’ve ever seen,” said the St Louis Post-Dispatch. Meanwhile, the Denver Post praised its “vibrant originality” and nods to the classic musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The national tour stars Mark Evans as Elder Price and Christopher John O’Neill as Elder Cunningham.

Don’t miss your chance to see the show the Denver Post called “a taut, joyously performed work of near musical theater perfection.” Get your tickets to see the tour of The Book of Mormon today!
